MiniMedic Program

Eligibility:

• Any person wishing to join this organization must be at least fifteen (15) years of age. No member may continue in the MiniMedic program after his or her twenty-first (21st) birthday. 
• MiniMedics must maintain a letter grade average of C while in school.

The program has the purpose of providing experiences that help young people mature and prepare them to become responsible and caring adults. The MiniMedic Program is focused on developing relationships between youth and the organizations in their communities and is based on five areas of emphasis: career opportunities, life skills, citizenship, character, education and leadership experience. This program will offer young people the chance to learn about careers in EMS and provide the opportunity to engage young people in public safety–type activities with the hope of stimulating future career interest in EMS.
